Adsense Overview

As you may know adsense (also known as Google Adsense) is a part of google service that serve people as advertisement serving program. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image, and more recently, video advertisements on their websites. These advertisements are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis.

Right now there are numbers of Google Adsense Service such as :

Google Adsense for Search
Google Adsense for Content
Google Adsense for Mobile Content
Google Adsense for Feed

Each of these has their own rule, as an example those who register adsense using other language that not supported by google adsense for content will not have adsense for content service on their Google Adsense account. Therefore be sure to read user license agreement before you register an account.

Basically it means that you can quickly add some advertisement to your web site or blog. Google will automatically decide which are the best ads to show (based on your site's content, which is why it is called contextual ads). Because the ads are related to your content, they are also less annoying then plain banners. Usually they are text based, which makes them even less obtrusive.
